Greg West, iRacing staff, has released rumors that a possible new GT would be coming to the simulator next season. This is because he has made a publication in the iRacing forum saying that a new car would arrive to the service a month before the 24h of Nürburgring and would alter the vehicles that would compete in it.
As we know, the following cars competed last year:
GT3:
– Audi R8 LMS
– BMW M4 GT3 – Prototype
– Mercedes AMG GT3
Porsche Cup:
– Porsche 911 GT3 Cu
GT4:
– Porsche Cayman GT4
– BMW M4 GT
TCR:
– Audi RS 3 LMS TCR
As we can see, pure German cars participated in this race. Assuming that German cars will continue to compete this year, the McLaren GT4 and both TCR that were added this season would be left out. Also, considering that the simulator currently supports up to 8 different cars on track, the Porsche GT3 would be added to the grid. That would leave us the options of the Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo or the Mercedes AMG GT4 as an addition for this upcoming season. If it’s the GT3, it will obviously replace the old Mercedes, but if it’s the GT4, we would have to see if they remove the Mercedes GT3 or some other car for this race.
However, we are just throwing lines and thinking about the possibilities for next season. Nothing is defined or confirmed yet, so we will keep you informed.
See you on the track!

Not sure what car alters the nords 24. Unless they allow the Aston Martin gt4 but that wouldn’t comport with the all German lineup.
