Competitions are back to Assetto Corsa Competizione in this 2022 season and Alpine will be release soon more details about this second edition of its eSports Series.
Alpine Esports is pleased to announce the return of the Alpine Esports Series on Assetto Corsa Competizione . Now in its second year, the championship will once again be run by sim racing partner Race Clutch and is powered by Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, who became the partner of the BWT Alpine F1 Team and Alpine Esports earlier this year.
Over 1000 drivers applied to take part in the inaugural event in 2021 and this year promises to be even bigger with a range of prizes on offer across the competition including a cash prize of USD $100,000 in Alpine Fan Tokens, Alpine GT4 driving experience, TRX sim racing rig from Trak Racer, BenQ Mobiuz EX3410R curved monitor, and more to be announced soon.
Qualifiers run from April 4th to 17th where the 30 fastest drivers will be selected through the in-game Assetto Corsa Competizione time-trial attack to make it through the second stage, the Alpine Esports Series Championship. To be able to join the qualifiers players will need to own Assetto Corsa Competizione game and the Gt4 pack DLC. The fastest time-trial participant will also instantly win $1,500 worth of Alpine Fan Tokens. The second phase will consist of six races divided into three rounds from April to June.
Alpine Esports Series Championship Dates:
- Round 1: 28th April (Race 1 & 2)
- Round 2: 12th May (Race 3 & 4)
- Round 3: 23rd June (Race 5 & 6)
The championship will be open to drivers across Europe and the UK only with all drivers competing on the Alpine A110 GT4. Defending his title during the competition is the winner of the 2021 edition, Jaroslav “Jardier” Honzik. Joining the qualified drivers will be a series of Alpine Academy drivers, celebrities and sim racing influencers, with sim racing broadcaster, Chris Haye, and Alpine Esports Ambassador, Thom Bower, the commentators of the competition.
