The latest RaceHub update adds virtual controls to RaceView displays, expands telemetry support and prepares the software for Asetek’s upcoming shifter and handbrake.
Asetek has released RaceHub 4.5, adding a Virtual Button Box, broader telemetry support and compatibility with the upcoming Load Cell Handbrake and Dual Mode Shifter.
Virtual Button Box comes to RaceView
The main addition is the Virtual Button Box, which can display up to six configurable virtual buttons on compatible 4.3-inch RaceView screens.
Users can assign the buttons to functions such as pit commands, communications or external applications without adding a separate physical button box.
RaceHub 4.5 also changes layout navigation. Swiping left or right now switches between layouts, replacing the previous corner-tap method.
RaceHub prepares for Asetek’s new shifter and handbrake
Version 4.5 adds software support for two upcoming Asetek peripherals: the Load Cell Handbrake and Dual Mode Shifter.
The Dual Mode Shifter combines H-pattern and sequential operation in one unit, while the handbrake uses a load-cell system.
Neither product is available at retail yet, but RaceHub now includes support ahead of their release.
More telemetry support
RaceHub 4.5 expands telemetry integration across several racing titles.
Assetto Corsa EVO receives additional telemetry support, while Le Mans Ultimate gains further compatible data and an updated setup guide.
Assetto Corsa Competizione can now provide telemetry through UDP, while Project Motor Racing gains car spotter support alongside telemetry-related fixes.
Up to 88 wheelbase presets
Asetek has also increased the number of wheelbase profiles that can be stored in RaceHub.
Version 4.5 supports up to 88 presets, allowing different force feedback configurations to be saved for individual cars and simulators. The update also includes revised brake calibration guidance, interface changes and bug fixes.
