Asetek Racing is presenting its new Initium range product. This Direct Drive Wheelbase reaches up to 10Nm. Upgradeable up to 14 Nm with a boost kit.
Initium DD10, Asetek Racing’s next wheelbase, brings serious direct drive performance, genuine cross-platform freedom, and cross-brand compatibility to a far wider field of sim racers.
The DD10 launches with 10 Nm of torque, enough for precise, detailed feedback, and unlocks to 14 Nm when you are in need of more. The headroom lives in the same hardware, so the wheelbase develops with the driver instead of new costly products .
Its defining trait is openness. Through onboard USB passthrough, DD10 drives the full range of Asetek Racing wheels and third-party wheels alike, a rare level of compatibility in the direct drive category. The RaceHub software ties it together: one modern hub for settings, tuning, and updates.
DD10 is built for both Xbox and PC. This also means Asetek is expanding their Xbox supported product portfolio opening the experience to an even broader audience of console drivers.
“DD10 removes the barriers that have held sim racers back: real direct drive performance, the freedom to use the wheels you already own, and compatible for Xbox. It is the most accessible way into the Asetek Racing experience” said André Eriksen, CEO and Founder, Asetek Racing.
