Assetto Corsa Generated €33.6 Million as EVO and Rally Expand

The Assetto Corsa franchise generated €33.6 million in revenue for Digital Bros during its 2025/26 fiscal year, accounting for almost one-third of the company’s entire €108.5 million business. More importantly for the future of the series, Digital Bros says older Assetto Corsa titles continue to sell strongly while Assetto Corsa EVO and Assetto Corsa Rally are being positioned for continued content support after their full releases.

The figures come from Digital Bros’ latest financial results, covering the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2026. Revenue generated by the different Assetto Corsa games reached €33.6 million, up 5% from €32 million in the previous financial year.

That makes Assetto Corsa one of the most important properties in the entire Digital Bros portfolio. The group reported total revenue of €108.5 million for the year, meaning the racing franchise alone contributed approximately 31% of total company revenue. Within the Premium Games segment, which generated €98.2 million, Assetto Corsa represented roughly 34%.

Crucially, Digital Bros does not provide individual revenue figures for Assetto Corsa EVO, Assetto Corsa Rally, Assetto Corsa Competizione or the original Assetto Corsa. The €33.6 million figure applies to the franchise as a whole, so it should not be interpreted as an EVO sales figure.

The Original Assetto Corsa and ACC Are Still Selling Strongly

One of the most interesting details in the report is where that revenue is coming from. Digital Bros specifically says the performance benefited from the strong sales of products released in previous fiscal years, naming both the original Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione.

That is significant because Assetto Corsa originally launched more than a decade ago, while ACC has also been on the market for several years. Both continue to contribute materially to the franchise at the same time as Digital Bros is investing in its next generation of racing titles.

Assetto Corsa EVO also contributed after entering Early Access during the previous fiscal year, while Assetto Corsa Rally joined the portfolio in Early Access during FY2025/26. However, Digital Bros does not disclose the revenue split between the four games, making it impossible to determine exactly how much of the €33.6 million came from each title.

The result nevertheless demonstrates the commercial value of the franchise’s back catalogue. Digital Bros says back catalogue sales remained “particularly healthy” across the company during the year and expects older titles to continue making a significant contribution during the following fiscal period.

EVO and Rally Are Part of a Longer-Term Assetto Corsa Strategy

The financial report also gives a clearer indication of how Digital Bros views Assetto Corsa EVO and Assetto Corsa Rally beyond their Early Access periods.

Digital Bros describes the release of Assetto Corsa Rally as consistent with a wider strategy of concentrating investment on a smaller number of properties, particularly franchises that the company fully owns and that have the potential to generate recurring revenue over time.

Assetto Corsa sits at the center of that strategy. Games based on intellectual properties fully owned by Digital Bros represented 77% of Premium Games revenue during FY2025/26, compared with 52% one year earlier. Digital Bros specifically identifies the contribution of the Assetto Corsa franchise as one of the factors behind that shift.

Owning the intellectual property gives the company considerably more control over how a successful franchise is expanded, supported and monetized compared with publishing games owned by an external developer. It also reduces royalty exposure, something Digital Bros says contributed to a more favorable product mix during the financial year.

The Assetto Corsa strategy now extends beyond a single simulation platform. The original Assetto Corsa remains active through its enormous PC community, Competizione continues to serve GT-focused racing, EVO is being developed as the next mainline Assetto Corsa platform, and Rally has expanded the brand into a dedicated rally simulation.

Assetto Corsa EVO and Rally Will Receive Content After 1.0

The clearest indication of Digital Bros’ long-term plans appears in its outlook for the next fiscal year.

The company expects both Assetto Corsa EVO and Assetto Corsa Rally to reach full release during the second half of FY2026/27. Because Digital Bros’ financial year ends on June 30, that currently places the corporate target for both full releases somewhere between January and June 2027.

Neither KUNOS Simulazioni nor Supernova Games Studios has announced a specific 1.0 release date, so that period should still be treated as a financial planning window rather than a confirmed launch schedule.

More revealing is what Digital Bros says comes next. The company states that both Assetto Corsa games will subsequently be supported by additional content released over time.

That confirms that version 1.0 is not being treated as the end of development for either project. EVO and Rally are being planned as platforms that will continue receiving content after leaving Early Access.

What the financial document does not say is whether that future content will be free, paid DLC or a combination of both. It would therefore be premature to describe this as confirmation of a paid DLC roadmap. Digital Bros only confirms continued content releases after the full versions become available.

Digital Bros Is Still Investing Heavily in EVO and Rally

The report also shows that development of the two upcoming full releases remains a significant area of investment. Digital Bros says its capitalized internal development costs during the financial year were primarily related to Assetto Corsa EVO and Assetto Corsa Rally.

At the same time, the publisher has changed how it markets major releases. Advertising costs fell significantly across the group due to the limited number of new launches, while marketing for EVO and Rally has been more selectively aimed at specific audiences and media channels rather than relying exclusively on broad campaigns.

That approach fits Digital Bros’ wider strategy of investing in fewer franchises where it has greater control and better visibility over future returns. The company has cancelled several unrelated projects after reviewing their commercial potential, while stating that future investment will increasingly focus on existing properties, games approaching release and sequels to successful titles.

Assetto Corsa is therefore operating in a very different position from a new racing game trying to establish itself from scratch. Digital Bros already has a back catalogue capable of generating substantial revenue while EVO and Rally remain unfinished, giving the company a commercial base from which to support both projects through 1.0 and beyond.

Assetto Corsa Has Become a Core Digital Bros Business

The €33.6 million figure puts the scale of the franchise into perspective. Assetto Corsa now generates almost one euro for every three euros of revenue reported by Digital Bros, despite its two newest games still being in Early Access.

That does not necessarily mean Assetto Corsa EVO itself has already matched the commercial success of its predecessors. Without individual game sales or revenue figures, there is no way to make that comparison reliably.

What the financial results do show is that Digital Bros does not appear to be treating EVO and Rally as isolated launches. They sit inside a broader Assetto Corsa ecosystem in which older games continue generating revenue, new products expand the franchise into different parts of sim racing, and additional content is already planned after the transition to full release.

For players, that makes the period after 1.0 almost as interesting as the release itself. EVO and Rally are still being built, but Digital Bros’ financial strategy already assumes that both will continue evolving after Early Access ends.

If you do not own the game yet, Assetto Corsa EVO is available on PC, and the original Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition remains the reference point for what a mature modding scene looks like.
