KUNOS Simulazioni will provide a new in-depth look at Assetto Corsa EVO’s Eifel Free Roam today, October 7, with a presentation hosted by co-founder and Executive Manager Marco Massarutto. The “Where Simulation Meets Freedom” showcase goes live at 16:00 CEST and is expected to explain how the mode was developed and what players can expect next.
KUNOS confirmed in September that the first iteration of Eifel Free Roam will arrive with Assetto Corsa EVO Update 0.10. However, the studio has not yet announced a release date for the update or detailed exactly how much of the region will be accessible when the mode first becomes playable.
Today’s presentation should provide a much clearer picture. According to KUNOS, Massarutto will discuss what Free Roam is, how the project came to life and what players can expect from its next stages of development.
The presentation will premiere on the official Assetto Corsa YouTube channel at 15:00 BST / 16:00 CEST on October 7. The showcase comes as Assetto Corsa EVO approaches Update 0.10, which will mark the public debut of the long-awaited open-road environment around the Nürburgring.
KUNOS has deliberately described the upcoming version as the “first iteration” of Eifel Free Roam, indicating that Update 0.10 will not represent the final form of the project. One of the most important questions for today’s presentation is therefore how much content will be available initially and how the region will expand afterwards.
A New Lamborghini May Also Be Teased
The promotional thumbnail for the presentation also appears to show the Lamborghini Temerario. KUNOS has not separately named the car in its accompanying announcement, so its inclusion in Assetto Corsa EVO should remain treated as a teaser until it is formally detailed or shown during the presentation.
For now, the confirmed focus remains Free Roam and its development. With Update 0.10 still without a public release date, today’s presentation could provide the most substantial new information about the feature since KUNOS confirmed its arrival in the next major Early Access update.
