Assetto Corsa EVO: Official Announcement Trailer Revealed

Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO, has finally been revealed by Kunos Simulazioni. After months of waiting and a confirmed delay pushing the release to 2025, fans were treated to the first official trailer of this new racing simulator.

Set to continue the success of the original franchise, which has sold over 28 million copies worldwide, Assetto Corsa EVO aims to elevate the racing sim genre once again. An Early Access version of the sim will launch in January.

“EVO stands out for the painstaking attention dedicated to every vehicle, modeled using an advanced system that accurately reproduces mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance.”

The result is a driving experience that promises to be more immersive and authentic than ever before, though specific improvements over previous installments remain unclear at this time.

Precision Tracks and Dynamic Weather Systems

Assetto Corsa EVO will continue to offer highly detailed laser-scanned tracks, a hallmark of the series, capturing iconic circuits such as Imola, Brands Hatch, and the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. Kunos Simulazioni explains that, “the tracks are reproduced with extreme precision thanks to Laserscan technology, which, combined with a new algorithm simulating the realistic behavior of asphalt and dynamic weather conditions, provides drivers with a more satisfying and immersive racing experience.”

While some of these features, like laser-scanned tracks, are not entirely new to fans of the series, the dynamic weather system and improved road surface simulations are expected to significantly enhance the game’s realism. Drivers will need to adapt to changing conditions, offering a deeper challenge that could set EVO apart from its predecessors.

What to Expect Moving Forward

Although fans will have to wait until 2025 for the full release of Assetto Corsa EVO, the announcement of Early Access in January gives a glimmer of hope for eager players to get behind the wheel sooner.
