The next update for Assetto Corsa EVO will continue expanding its vehicle lineup with one of the most radical modern Porsches ever built. Kunos Simulazioni confirmed that the exclusive 2018 Porsche 935 will arrive in the simulator as part of the upcoming 0.7 update.
Directly inspired by the legendary Porsche 935/78 “Moby Dick,” this modern machine was developed as a contemporary track-focused tribute, completely abandoning any form of road-legal homologation. Production was limited to just 77 units, turning it into one of the most desirable collector cars in the world of motorsport and exclusive track-only vehicles.
An Extreme Porsche Built Exclusively for the Track

The 2018 Porsche 935 does not follow the usual philosophy of modern supercars designed for both road and circuit use. Instead, Porsche created a car intended exclusively for private track sessions and non-homologated racing events.
The car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine producing 700 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed PDK transmission and rear-wheel drive layout. The entire package is directly derived from the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, although the bodywork was completely redesigned to maximize aerodynamic performance.
One of the most striking aspects is its design. The massive rear wing, widened body, and extended rear section clearly pay homage to the iconic late-1970s “Moby Dick,” one of the most memorable Porsche race cars in history.

Since its initial launch, the simulator has received multiple updates focused on both content additions and technical improvements.
Recent versions introduced new circuits, GT3 cars, and major revisions to physics, suspension, audio, and MoTeC telemetry support. In addition, the studio continues working on VR optimizations, online performance, and the future open-world mode based on the Eifel region.
