505 Games, Supernova Games Studios, and KUNOS Simulazioni are pleased to deliver Update 0.5 for Assetto Corsa Rally — the most substantial update yet, bringing real-world Greece rally content, the debut of online multiplayer, and a deep rework of the game’s physics engine.
Two New Greece Stages
Update 0.5 introduces two legendary Special Stages from the World Rally Championship’s Greece rounds, each capturing the distinctive character of Greek rally roads.
- Loutraki Special Stage. Starting on the outskirts of town and climbing into the hills of Aghii Theodori, Loutraki is defined by dusty surfaces, boulders at the edges, and fast sections with wide turns that reward commitment and car control. High speeds and broad lines create ample opportunities for spectacular drifts, while the road’s hazards keep every corner honest.
- Elatia Special Stage. Connecting the towns of Elatia and Zeli, this stage is wide, fast, and unforgiving. Exposed rocks, deep ruts, and sweeping corners allow drivers to exploit every horsepower available — but the high speeds and demanding surface conditions demand precision from start to finish.
New: Online Multiplayer — Single Stage
Update 0.5 marks the first phase of online multiplayer for Assetto Corsa Rally. Players can now host and join fully customisable public and private lobbies for up to 16 players in single-stage events, with full control over weather, car restrictions, and real-time live spectating. Official developer-managed ACR Lobbies ensure open slots are always available for the community.
Multiplayer launches with a rotating event calendar featuring two standard weekly events and one premium event available exclusively from Friday to Sunday.
New: Physics Overhaul
This update delivers a comprehensive rework of the physics engine. Key changes include a revised tire model with an updated peak slip angle formula, improved surface recognition with unique parameter sets per terrain, longitudinal and lateral bulldozing effects on soft surfaces, enhanced camber dynamics, and experimental stick-slip vibrations that restore detailed surface feedback. A new dynamic ideal line debuts on the Greece stages, alongside a full global rebalancing pass across all surfaces, cars, and setup presets.
