Automobilista 2 is going all out: its next DLC will feature four authentic Italian bulls.
What makes this special is that we’re not just talking about simple additions, but a journey through decades of Lamborghini’s V12 heritage, from the mythical past to the cutting edge of the present.
Lamborghini Miura SV
I can’t help but smile seeing the Miura SV included in the pack. This car is not only beautiful, it’s pure history. It was the brand’s first mid-engined supercar and, for many, the true beginning of what we know today as a supercar.
The Miura SV could reach 180 mph with its 380-horsepower V12. Of course, it was also known for some front-end instability at high speeds… something that will surely cause a few virtual scares in AMS2.
Diablo SV-R Super Trofeo
From elegance to raw savagery. The Diablo SV-R was one of Lamborghini’s first serious attempts to fully enter motorsport. Only 31 units were ever built, destined for a European one-make racing series.
This is a car that screams excess: no filters, no electronic aids, and an intimidating presence. I’m especially curious to see how it behaves on AMS2’s circuits.
Murciélago R-GT
If we’re talking about pure racing, the Murciélago R-GT more than earns its place. Developed with Reiter Engineering, this beast competed in GT1 and ALMS against rivals like Ferrari and Maserati.
Although it never achieved an endless list of victories, it left its mark with a surprise win in Valencia in 2004 and multiple appearances at Le Mans. The idea of recreating those battles inside the simulator feels fantastic.
Lamborghini Revuelto
And finally, we reach the Revuelto, the hybrid supercar that represents Lamborghini’s current vision. With its 6.5-liter V12 combined with electric motors, it produces over 1,000 horsepower.
The numbers? 0-60 mph in just over 2 seconds and a top speed of 221 mph. And the fact that this is considered the most “ordinary” car of the DLC says everything.
An Expansion That Promises a Lot
The truth is, Automobilista 2 is closing the year with power. After adding other manufacturers and iconic cars in recent months, now it’s time to enjoy an exclusive Lamborghini selection that spans from the 1960s to today’s hybrid era.
Pricing and release date haven’t been revealed yet, but it looks like we won’t have to wait long before these engines roar on our screens.
