When we need to relive old moments and, above all, old tracks, there is a specific simulator to turn to. Automobilista 2 is full of these historical circuits, as well as those yet to come.
I’m referring to Nordschleife, but its historical version, which is about to be released on the Reiza Studios simulator. This is the version on which the German Formula 1 Grand Prix was held in 1971, with a length of 22.835 km in that same year. This makes it one of the longest circuits in the history of F1.
We can see this thanks to their official Twitter account, where the following was posted: “We’re putting the finishing touches on our next update to Automobilista 2 , which will include a project our track team has been working on for two years: the legendary Nürburgring, as it was in 197. Check out the first glimpses of the historic ‘Green Hell’!”

Although they haven’t provided a clear date, in another tweet prior to this, we can see a poster with the name of Nordschleife that reads “This weekend…”.
Therefore, we can assume that we might expect a new update to Automobilista 2 with this new historical addition, as well as possible new content, over the weekend of April 21-23.
