The wait is over. Automobilista 2  is now updated to version 1.6.6, and it’s a major step forward. This release brings key multiplayer improvements, a long-awaited overhaul of the legendary Nürburgring, and two exciting new DLCs. The update goes live on July 30.

Endurance Pack Pt3: Aston Martin Arrives in AMS2

The third installment of the Endurance Pack delivers a fresh dose of adrenaline and British elegance, thanks to the official debut of four Aston Martin models in Automobilista 2:

  • Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro (Hypercar): A V12-powered monster that’s still finding its pace in GTP/LMDh, but already captivating fans with its stunning looks and sound.

  • Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo and GT4 Evo: Updated versions that bring classic British Racing Green to their respective GT classes.

  • Aston Martin Vantage GTE (2020): A throwback to recent racing history, this V8 still roars with relevance in AMS2.

But it’s not all about Aston Martin. The DLC also introduces two additional models that further enrich the racing lineup:

  • Alpine A110 GT4 Evo: Lightweight, nimble, and elegant, this becomes the ninth GT4 contender in the game.

  • Ligier JS2-R: For now, the sole representative of the new Ligier European Series—more cars are expected to join later.

The Endurance Pack Pt3 will be priced at US$9.99 (or regional equivalent), with all cars available for a limited-time free trial before becoming DLC-exclusive. Don’t miss your chance to test before you invest.

Nürburgring 2025: The Green Hell Reimagined

AMS2 returns to the German Eifel Mountains to deliver a completely reworked and ultra-detailed version of one of motorsport’s most iconic tracks: Nürburgring.

The original modern version of the track was introduced in 2020, later expanded with a painstakingly recreated 1971 historical layout in 2023, including the legendary Südschleife. But the vision was always to bring a fully modern, high-fidelity version to life—and the time has come.

Nürburgring 2025 arrives as a standalone DLC (US$7.99) built from the ground up, incorporating updated laser-scan data following the real-world track’s latest renovations.

Meanwhile, owners of the 2020 Nürburgring Pack will receive a free update that improves the original layouts with new 3D terrain mesh and visual enhancements.

Coming soon: While not included in this release, two new layout options are planned for the future: a “joker shortcut” to skip the out lap and a Tourist layout replicating the experience of public access track days.

Multiplayer Overhaul: First Stage of Major Improvements

One of the community’s most requested areas, multiplayer stability, is beginning to see major attention. Version 1.6.6 includes:

  • Fixes for known issues that caused sessions to get stuck during transitions.
  • Optimized network packet transfers during host migration and end-of-session phases, reducing the risk of lag spikes and mass disconnections.

This is just the beginning—further improvements are already in the pipeline for the months ahead.

Bonus: Steam Racing Fest & IMSA Bundle Deals

Timed perfectly with this update, Automobilista 2  is part of the Steam Racing Fest, with discounts up to 75% on the base game and all DLCs. An ideal chance to catch up or jump in for the first time.
