The latest Automobilista 2 V1.6.3.5 update is here, completing the V1.6 cycle with a host of bug fixes, content improvements, and adjustments. As the final patch in this series, it sets the stage for a more refined and immersive racing experience.

What’s New in Automobilista 2 V1.6.3.5?
This update addresses long-standing bugs and improves gameplay consistency. Notably, the drivetrain and tire “jolt” issue and FFB spikes during upshifts have been resolved, particularly benefiting cars like the F-Vintages and Caterhams. Replay fidelity has also been improved, fixing occasional steering rotation and animation glitches.
On the visual front, the Spielberg circuits (modern and historic layouts) now feature 3D foliage and updated textures. Developers have committed to maintaining older content to match current art standards, ensuring consistency across tracks and cars.
Physics and AI Updates
Physics revisions take center stage in this update. Kart classes, including Superkart, have been completely overhauled, bringing them up to the V1.6 standard. Players are advised to reset manual setups for these vehicles.
AI behavior has also seen significant fine-tuning, reducing jerky movements and improving high-speed stability. Specific adjustments to AI wet-weather calibration and lateral rates ensure smoother, more competitive races across a variety of classes.

Several vehicles received updates, including cockpit POV adjustments, texture improvements, and bug fixes for models like the Lamborghini Veneno and McLaren MP4 series. For tracks, the Spielberg circuit underwent an art overhaul with new terrain meshes, 3D foliage, and climate adjustments.
