Reiza has published a single race video to show how wonderful its Spa ’05 recreation is. Also, you can appreciate the improvement in AI for Automobilista 2 .
A short single player race with the Formula V10 Gen2 at the Spa-Francorchamps 2005 GP track, showcasing several of the continuing AI developments incoming with the next update for AMS2: more elaborate AI throttle & braking logic (AI drivers factor several more varying circumstances in the way the apply throttle & brakes) improved performance calibration in changing conditions; improved AI overtaking, defending & general dogfighting skills); improved awareness of surroundings & general more human-like flow of movement from AI drivers, with increased chances of AI mistakes induced by high risk / high stress situations – high competitive single player Racing action.
Also on display here are some further refinements to tire physics, drafting effect, environment & car visuals & audio.
The Spa 2005 layout previewd here is one of three 2005-era race tracks featuring in the upcoming Historical Track Pack Pt3.
