The Assetto Corsa 2021 Showcase has given for a few more things than just showing off what the upcoming next-gen console editions know how to do. There’s quite a bit of news surrounding Assetto Corsa Competizione, even if nothing has been said about Assetto Corsa 2.
It has been confirmed that on August 31, that is, this Tuesday will be available to download the mobile version (IOS only) of Assetto Corsa for €4.99. It also confirms what we said about the passage of Competizione to next-generation consoles for free with added FPS and resolution while maintaining the content. They also come with physical editions whose release is dated for February 24, 2022.
The BMW M4 GT3 will be the next car to arrive in Assetto Corsa Competizione from BMW as it has done with other simulators. It is expected next year, along with what appears to be 6 or 7 completely new cars belonging to a new category managed by SRO (GT2?). This addition would come in the form of DLC.
This mount content would be accompanied by a new track located in the United States, which could be COTA, VIR, Road America, Road Atlanta…etc.
It has also been said that DLSS support is intended to be included while RTX seems to be almost completely ruled out. While consoles will receive private lobbies that will not be available on PC.
Finally support for Thrustmaster’s SF1000 is added in the near future.
