The Chinese brand CAMMUS is back with a revamped Direct Drive steering wheel in the style of the previously discussed C5 model, aiming to address the weaknesses of its predecessor.
To provide some context, CAMMUS is a Chinese company known for manufacturing electric motors, karts, real cars, and SimRacing products. Their latest addition is the CAMMUS C5, characterized by its distinctive “all-in-one” style, where the Direct Drive base is integrated into the wheel.
Continuing in this style, they’ve opted for a much more powerful motor, a larger steering wheel packed with different buttons. With a force of up to 12 Nm at the base, it becomes one of the most powerful offerings from the brand, boasting up to 7 Nm more than its predecessor.
While many details are still forthcoming, here are some images and specifications of the wheel:
In total, there are 38 fully customizable inputs in addition to the two gear shift paddles.
You can pre-order this CAMMUS C12 for approximately €500 and purchase its table clamp on the official website by clicking here. Get a 5% discount using the code: simracer.
