Yesterday was held a new date of the eNASCAR Pro Invitational where real NASCAR drivers participate in races in iRacing. In this case, the 5th and last date was held at the Chicago Street Circuit, where James Davison won after a rather eventful race when there was a lot of traffic.
This circuit does not exist in the real world, and is a project that has been made jointly between iRacing and NASCAR, where it would be tested first in the virtual to see if the circuit has the potential to offer great races in real life, something unprecedented in the world of motorsport.
The circuit has 3 left turns and 9 right turns around the Grant Park of the “windy city” with just over 2 miles in length. If the circuit will offer great races, only time will tell, what we can appreciate is that it is one of the best worked circuits by the iRacing team, with a level of detail that even exceeds what we had already seen in the recent release of the Long Beach circuit, both inside and outside the circuit.
After the conclusion of the eNASCAR race, iRacing surprised us with a video announcement indicating that the track is now available for sale in the simulator store.
