Montmeló was officially announced during Bathurst 12h broadcast in RaceSpotTV streaming last season and iRacing staff confirmed they were already scanning spanish track these days. Today, we have great news.
The @iRacing crew is on site at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya @Circuitcat_eng capturing millimeter accurate laser scan data and photographs. We're excited to start working on the track and to bring it to iRacing in the future. #laserscan #SimRacing pic.twitter.com/zVKTMGVPYT

Circuit de Barcelona will be deployed in a pre-launch version in iRacing. The event is scheduled to take place on the 30th of this month, which means a few days before the official launch of the build S4 on iRacing, so it will not be officially available to anyone and it will be in this test where it will be released in exclusive worldwide.

This is very similar last year in Madrid where Gran Turismo Sport also premiered for the event a preliminary version of the Circuit that achieved a good reception.
The prequaly finally will take place at the Silverstone circuit with the 2011 configuration and the BMW M8 GTE.
