The legendary circuit located in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain), besides being a cathedral of motorcycling, is internationally recognized for having been the host of Formula 1. From 1986 to 1990, the Spanish GP was held, which despite hosting great races like Senna’s victory by 14 thousandths, lost its venue to Montmeló for the following years. However, the premier series returned for the European GP in 1994 and 1997.

Beyond F1, Jerez has always been the host of major Spanish and European categories: the World Endurance Championship (from 1986 to 1988), the BPR Global GT Series (in 1995), the World Superbike Championship (in 1990), the International Formula 3000 (from 1988 to 1991 and in 1997), the World Series by Renault (in 2004, 2014, and 2015), the European Formula 3000 (from 2002 to 2004 and in 2008), and the Superleague Formula (in 2008). Currently, it is visited by the Spanish Formula 3 (since 2001), the Spanish GT Championship, among other Spanish, Portuguese, and regional categories, and since 2014 the World Series by Renault returned to the Jerez track after a 10-year absence. A 2-year contract was signed for the celebration of the Formula Renault 3.5 and Formula Renault 2.0 (World Series) race.

In Massachusetts, they have not only been scanning Jerez but also updated the latest patch of the season 1. More corrections to the damage system, mainly in contacts during inter-vehicle fights. Oh, and the famous “slowdown” has also been added in the interior of Daytona, to avoid surprises in the qualifying of some famous team.

See you on the track!
