As soon as I got my Sparco P310 started to notice a fast wear (what I though it was wear) with very few uses. This was somehow disappointing but then, searching for a solution and I found this useful post.
I was getting a bit fed up with the oily, matted areas of my steering wheel, so I did some research on suede cleaning.
If you have a suede steering wheel, you know all too well what I’m talking about…
So I bought this Pedag Suede Cleaning Kit from Amazon:
The main thing you use is this little wonder bar. Feels kinda waxy.
All you do is rub that bar onto the affected areas and it magically starts to return to normal. It was apparent immediately.
And after you’re done, you just take the supplied brush and brush it all nice. Look at the difference left and right hand grips.
Both sides.
It was very easy to do, a 1 on a 10 point scale.
It’s great because I was getting worried that I was ruining my wheel, but now I know that I just need to clean it once in a while and it’ll be restored back to basically brand new!
See you on the track!
