The Chinese brand CONSPIT, well-known for manufacturing simRacing products such as pedals and wheels, has taken a significant step by developing its own Direct Drive bases with 10 and 18 Nm of torque.
The CONSPIT Ares Series Sim-racing Wheelbase is designed for simulation drivers seeking the ultimate competitive experience.
Equipped with a high-precision Direct Drive motor featuring inclined poles specifically developed for simracing, and a deeply optimized high-performance Force Feedback system, it offers an unprecedented realistic driving experience with highly detailed tactile feedback.
Currently, we have limited information, except for a few Instagram posts detailing the product:
“Unlike competitors who directly use industrial servomotors, the Ares base motor structure has been developed from scratch to optimize the unique demands of simulation racing regarding handling, steering response, and stability. Key parameters such as torque response, torque ripple, and cogging torque, which significantly affect subjective feel, have been specifically optimized to achieve the fastest, smoothest, and most precise tactile response.”
We await more information from Conspit, including details about the Quick Release functionality and pricing of the new bases.
