Usually when people design and plan its own custom rig, they tend to share it shortly after that. But it is not easy to find and track those files, so we consider pushing this to a distributed controlled version system as Github is worth to mention.
James Clonk did this and though this simrig has in mind to be used alongside a motion system, should be a nice start for the people who wants to build its own.

Do you happen to know where the locking levers are from? I’ve been looking for those for awhile and can’t find them.
No idea
There’s a lot of material there! Especially for a motion rig, weight is important (and excess material costs money). One wheel deck with the wheel underneath and the monitor on top can save a couple of pounds easily. I see a few supports that are unnecessarily rigid (meaning heavy) or not needed at all. The actuator casing looks cool but probably weighs 2 pounds per unit. All that weight is hurting the effectiveness of the actuators. It’s easy to get carried away with Sketchup
Hi Remco, nice to see you here.
I see unnecessary weight in many of these projects too. But as a free and collaborative design anyone can change it and adapt to his own taste or need.
