Digital ADAC SimRacing Expo is cancelled

The organizers of the ADAC SimRacing Expo had envisioned something different: After the cancellation of the motorsport festival at the Nürburgring in September, the digital replacement program "Super Sim December" was to bring the year to a fitting close. Now the Corona lockdown is also putting a damper on the digital program.

Sad news from ADAC and SimRacing Expo this year.

The organizers of the ADAC SimRacing Expo are pulling the rip cord. The planned Super Sim December – as a digital replacement for the annual ADAC SimRacing Expo – is cancelled. The comprehensive digital offer of streams, online races and product demonstrations will not take place in December 2020 as planned due to the tightened regulations in connection with COVID-19.

Safety first: Super Sim December cancelled
The organizers from ADAC Mittelrhein and cowana deeply regret the cancellation, but the welfare of all employees and production teams had top priority, according to the managing directors of both companies. The Corona pandemic has also made the search for partners and sponsors particularly difficult, as many companies are currently managing their budget plans rather cautiously.
