The Assetto Corsa brand was the firm’s top single income maker in the nine months between July 1st, 2021 and March 31st, 2022, according to Digital Bros, an Italian game developer and publisher.
Kunos Simulazioni, the creators of Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione, is owned by 505 Games, which is controlled by Digital Bros.
The Assetto Corsa franchise’s continued financial heft is surprising, given that 505 Titles is also behind recent popular games like Control and the PC version of Hideo Kojima’s dystopian epic Death Stranding.
“In the lack of any notable new releases, income in the first nine months was a combination of various but existing back library goods.” Assetto Corsa, intellectual property held by the Group, generated more over Euro 14 million in income during the period,” according to Digital Bros’ 31st March 2022 Interim Report.
