EA Ready to Buy Codemasters

This year doesn’t cease to show its surprises. Apparently Take Two and Codemasters’ purchase was already done, but Electronic Arts is a latecomer.

Electronic Arts is ready to bid for Codemasters, as rumors says and a fierce fight between those two american rivals have been set. EA is fighting to cover its lack of racing titles, as well as Take Two was intended to.

A first offer came from Take Two rounding 1 billion dollars, but Codemasters shareholders considers this could be improved and EA is ready to offer a substantial rise of almost 200 millions.

We will see what finally happen and what is the future of the english developer, which this same year acquired Slightly Mad Studios and reduce the number of racing games development companies.

See you on the track!
