A new location for Codemasters’ EA Sports WRC after layoff news.
Electronic Arts is pleased to announce the release of the second season update for EA SPORTS™ WRC, providing rally enthusiasts with an enhanced gaming experience featuring new challenges. The new content includes the inaugural Central European Rally, comprised of over 32 km of fast, demanding asphalt, brimming with adrenaline across 12 stages. The update also incorporates items from the Rally Pass and over 60 new Moments.
Inspired by the recent official WRC rally, the new Central European location introduces fans to the fluid high-speed Czech roads in this new asphalt-based stage. It will be available for free* to all players starting December 14 in all major game modes, including Career, with various weather conditions and seasonal climates. Tips and tricks for tackling the new location, as well as the complete list of stages, can be found on the EA SPORTS WRC website.
“Our vision with Central Europe is to challenge our players to push the boundaries of control and take calculated risks while racing through small villages, forests, and open farmlands. The inclusion of the Central European Rally provides a stimulating gaming experience with its wide, winding roads and unique countryside tracks,” stated Matthew Battison, Creative Director at Codemasters. “This is just the beginning of a series of exciting updates we have planned for EA Sports WRC, and we look forward to sharing more in the coming months.”
In addition to various game improvements, starting December 19, this update marks the beginning of a new Rally Pass season, offering players the opportunity to unlock up to 30 customization items across free, VIP, and EA Play levels. Season 2 will also release over 60 Moments, giving fans the chance to relive the WRC story and face unique daily challenges. Eight of these Moments will be exclusive to EA Play members.
EA Sports WRC is available for major platforms at €49.99 since November 3, 2023.
