For the third time, we are heading straight to the United States to celebrate what will be the first race on the new Las Vegas circuit and the penultimate one of the season. Although it’s not the first time in this city, as in 1981 and 1982, Las Vegas hosted two Formula 1 races, with the Grand Prix commonly known as the Caesars Palace Grand Prix.
The Las Vegas street circuit will be urban, taking place on the famous Las Vegas Strip, the city’s most renowned avenue. This race, scheduled for local nighttime hours (requiring us to wake up early), is anticipated to be the event with the lowest temperatures on the calendar, thus testing the Pirelli-supplied tires. The circuit features 17 turns, with turns 12 to 14 being flat out, and spans a length of 6.11 kilometers.
