Because F1 22 will be released on July 1st, we’ve compiled a list of all the necessary PC specifications so you can get started racing as soon as possible. EA has released both the minimum and recommended specifications, so you may be out of luck if you want to witness the F1 vehicles in 4K.

EA has disclosed the F1 22 system requirements for ray tracing in both the minimum and recommended requirements, allowing users to determine whether their specs are capable of supporting the cutting-edge technology.

The specifications are not too exorbitant, especially if you are going for the minimal needs rather than the ray tracing requirements. The Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti was introduced in 2016 and can be obtained for less than £200 on places such as eBay. The AMC RX 470 was released the same year and is available online for even less money, so upgrading shouldn’t be too expensive.

We would expect you to comfortably meet these criteria if you purchased a gaming PC within the previous several years. The Intel Core i3 CPU mentioned in the F1 22 system requirements was released in 2011, implying that you won’t need a lot of power to play the game.

We anticipate that many individuals will easily meet the necessary specifications that do not utilize ray tracing, especially if you have just upgraded your PC or purchased a gaming desktop.

See you on the track!
