Nvidia DLSS has added 12 more titles to its ever-expanding portfolio and is adding ray tracing capabilities to Hitman 3. During the Nvidia Computex 2022 keynote, Nvidia displayed all of the current titles that would support DLSS.
Nvidia DLSS stands for Deep Learning Super Sampling in case you didn’t know. This is an Nvidia RTX feature that employs artificial intelligence to improve gaming frame rate performance via intelligent scaling. This implies that games produced at 1440p should look to run at 4K, but without the usual performance hit.
Nvidia also stated that has introduced opaque reflections and ray-traced shadows to Hitman 3, which should provide players with a more immersive and better experience.
This includes the DLSS boost, which increases the frame rate in Hitman 3 to 4K. The new DLSS capabilities can be seen in the Hitman 3 reveal trailer, which also shows off the performance improvements. At 6 p.m. on May 24, GeForce players will be able to acquire piloGeForce Game Ready for Hitman 3 via the GeForce Experience app.
F1 22 races will be available for PC and consoles in just over a month. With a new F1 Life mode, improved handling based on the new 2022 rules and regulations, and even driveable supercars, it ushers in a new age of F1 gaming.
While PSVR compatibility is not planned, F1 22 will be playable in VR on PC for the first time, with support for Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive headsets. However, this is not the only benefit that PC users will enjoy. F1 22 will also support DLSS and RTX On on PC, which will enhance speed and enable ray-tracing effects.
F1 22 – Support for DLSS and RTX
Jeff Fisher, Senior Vice President of GeForce, said during a keynote for Nvidia’s Computex 2022 presentation that F1 22 would launch with RTX On for GeForce RTX GPUs.
“The popularity of Formula 1 racing continues to grow, as does Codemasters’ F1 racing game,” said Fisher.
“I’m excited to announce that the next season, F1 22, will launch July 11st with RTX On Gamers will feel even more in the driving seat with the cinematics of ray tracing and the performance of DLSS.“
If you need a reminder, F1 22 will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on July 1. By preordering the Champions Edition, you can also get F1 22 three days early.
