From the introduction of the ‘Pro Challenge’ and Daniel Ricciardo joining as a driver, replacing Nick De Vries in F1 23 , a new patch was necessary to refine this new game mode and address certain issues. Electronic Arts details these fixes in the patch notes for the new v1.10 version.
F1 23 PATCH NOTES (V1.10)
This F1 23 patch brings significant additions and a favorite Australian among fans. The new F1 23 patch (v1.10) has started rolling out on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
Here are the changes this patch will bring:
- Daniel Ricciardo has been added to Scuderia AlphaTauri and the driver market*.
- Nyck De Vries has been removed from Scuderia AlphaTauri and the driver market*.
- Performance improvements have been made to McLaren to accurately represent the 2023 F1® season.
- The F1® Pro Challenge event type has been added to F1® World.
- The Marina Bay Street Circuit (Singapore Grand Prix) has been updated with the 2023 circuit layout.
- Based on your feedback, ‘Strict’ corner-cutting rules have been implemented during qualifying sessions.
- A post-processing effect blurriness issue at medium to long distances has been resolved.
- Sponsor banners appearing black in Singapore have been fixed.
- An issue preventing connection to F1® World after joining a qualifying session has been resolved.
- Brightness, contrast, and saturation not functioning with high dynamic range in Photo mode have been fixed.
- Pixelation around the cockpit halo camera in specific conditions has been addressed.
- An issue where AI cars occasionally appeared as DNF and set unrealistic best lap times despite completing the race has been resolved.
- Very low force feedback levels on Logitech Pro wheels have been fixed.
- An issue with the elongated F1® logo in spectator mode has been fixed.
- Artifacts appearing on the speed line when looking back in very rainy weather races have been fixed.
- Custom setups still being allowed even when ‘Presets Only’ option was selected in multiplayer has been fixed.
- Inconsistent lap or sector times between different screens and UDP data have been resolved.
- RPM lights only illuminating in red instead of multicolor on Fanatec DD2 wheels have been fixed.
- A crash issue where cars could collide under certain conditions during the formation lap in broadcasts has been fixed.
- All drivers of the F1® World car having a black suit when equivalent performance was enabled in the Grand Prix has been fixed.
- General stability improvements have been made.
- Minor fixes have been implemented.
- *The change for Daniel Ricciardo and Nyck De Vries will only apply to new MyTeam saves.
