NVIDIA has included EA Sports F1 25 among the first 30 games able to use its new DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction model through the NVIDIA App, while also confirming support for F1 25 and EA Javelin Anti-Cheat on the upcoming RTX Spark platform.
NVIDIA has used Gamescom 2026 to expand the technologies available to EA Sports F1 25 on PC, with the racing game now able to use the latest DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction model through an NVIDIA App override.
F1 25 already supports path tracing, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation on compatible GeForce RTX hardware. The Gamescom development allows players to replace the existing Ray Reconstruction model with NVIDIA’s newer second-generation transformer without waiting for a dedicated F1 25 game update.
F1 25 Gets Access to the New Ray Reconstruction Model
NVIDIA says the new DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction model offers improved lighting accuracy, better temporal stability and clearer detail in motion when rendering ray-traced and path-traced scenes.
The updated denoiser has 35% more compute capability and processes 20% more parameters than the previous model while maintaining similar performance, according to NVIDIA. It has also been trained on a larger dataset and uses additional spatial and motion information from the game engine when reconstructing each frame.
Those improvements are potentially useful in a racing game such as F1 25, where trackside objects, fencing, reflections, cars and lighting can move rapidly across the image at high speed. The main objective, however, is improved reconstructed image quality rather than a direct increase in frame rate.
F1 25 is one of 30 games currently compatible with the new model through the NVIDIA App. Users need the Early Access version of the application and GeForce Game Ready Driver 580.88 WHQL or newer. The model can then be enabled through the game’s driver settings by selecting DLSS Override – Model Presets, choosing Custom and applying the recommended Ray Reconstruction preset.

NVIDIA plans to release the stable version of the updated NVIDIA App in September 2026. Developers can also integrate DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction directly into games through future updates, but NVIDIA has not announced a dedicated F1 25 patch for the new model.
F1 25 Is Also Coming to NVIDIA RTX Spark
F1 25 also features in NVIDIA’s plans for RTX Spark, a new Windows PC platform scheduled to launch in fall 2026.
NVIDIA says it is working with Electronic Arts and other publishers to ensure current PC games run correctly on RTX Spark devices, specifically naming EA Sports F1 25 among the supported titles.
The work goes beyond graphics compatibility. NVIDIA and EA are also developing native EA Javelin Anti-Cheat support for RTX Spark, including compatibility with F1 25 and other EA multiplayer games. That is an important requirement for the platform because anti-cheat systems can prevent games from operating correctly on new hardware or software architectures even when the rendering workload itself is supported.
RTX Spark is being positioned as a new generation of compact Windows PCs combining gaming, AI and content-creation workloads, with NVIDIA technologies including DLSS and Reflex built into the wider platform. NVIDIA has not presented RTX Spark specifically as a sim racing platform, and no F1 25 performance figures for Spark hardware have been published. Its compatibility nevertheless shows that racing games are already being considered as NVIDIA prepares the new PC platform for launch.
For F1 25 players on conventional GeForce RTX systems, the immediate development is the availability of DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction through the NVIDIA App, while RTX Spark support remains part of NVIDIA’s broader PC hardware plans for later in 2026.
