The 2026 Formula 1 season hasn’t even begun in real life yet, but EA is already warming up its engines with the arrival of the highly anticipated Season Pack for F1 25, an expansion that promises to completely transform the experience of the current simulator.
The company has confirmed that this Wednesday, May 20, the first official details of the downloadable content will be revealed, accompanied by a trailer that will serve as the calling card for one of the most important updates the franchise has received in recent years.
The 2026 DLC will not simply be a cosmetic update. Everything points to a genuine reconstruction of the championship within the game.
Among the most notable additions will be:
- New single-seaters
- Complete regulatory changes
- New drivers
- The arrival of new teams
Specifically, the presence of Gabriel Bortoleto and Valtteri Bottas in the promotional image hints at something particularly important: the incorporation of Audi and Cadillac as new players on the 2026 grid.
The mix is intriguing. On one hand, a historic brand that had been orbiting the premier category for years; on the other, an American giant ready to turn Formula 1 into an even bigger global showcase.

That places the DLC in a delicate but exciting position. It has to keep the community alive for longer than usual and, at the same time, prove that the franchise still has room to evolve.
