Fanatec is running a late-August hardware promotion across Europe, cutting prices on Direct Drive wheelbases, steering wheels, pedals and its ClubSport shifter until August 30.
Fanatec is currently promoting a range of sim racing hardware discounts across its European store, with reductions covering several of the most accessible products in its ecosystem.
The company’s “Gear Up” promotion runs until August 30, with discounts on both versions of the CSL DD, the Gran Turismo DD Pro bundle, CSL Elite Pedals V2 and several steering wheels. The ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5 is also included.
The discounts range from €30 to €80 depending on the product, with some of the most significant reductions affecting Fanatec’s entry-level Direct Drive options and PlayStation-compatible Gran Turismo bundle.
Fanatec CSL DD drops to €299.95
The most relevant deals for PC users are on the two versions of the CSL DD QR2.
The standard CSL DD QR2 5 Nm has been reduced from €329.95 to €299.95, a saving of €30. The stronger CSL DD QR2 8 Nm receives a larger €50 reduction, bringing its price down from €429.95 to €379.95.
Both versions use Fanatec’s QR2 quick-release system and support FullForce, while the difference between them comes primarily from the power supply and resulting maximum torque.
That €379.95 price makes the 8 Nm version particularly relevant in the current entry-to-mid-range Direct Drive market, where Fanatec is competing against newer wheelbases from MOZA, Thrustmaster and other manufacturers.
The current Direct Drive offers are:
- CSL DD QR2 5 Nm: €299.95 — previously €329.95 — save €30.
- CSL DD QR2 8 Nm: €379.95 — previously €429.95 — save €50.
Gran Turismo DD Pro gets the biggest discount
PlayStation users also have a discounted option in the form of the Gran Turismo DD Pro 5 Nm.
Fanatec has reduced the officially licensed Gran Turismo bundle from €649.95 to €569.95, representing the largest individual saving in the current Gear Up campaign at €80.
Unlike the standalone CSL DD bases, the Gran Turismo DD Pro is a complete Ready2Race package and includes a wheelbase, Gran Turismo steering wheel and pedals. The wheelbase provides native PlayStation compatibility, while Xbox support can be added by using an Xbox-licensed Fanatec steering wheel.
The offer applies specifically to the 5 Nm Gran Turismo DD Pro. The 8 Nm version remains listed separately and is not currently marked as part of the Gear Up promotion.

CSL Elite Pedals V2 and ClubSport Shifter are also reduced
The promotion is not limited to wheelbases.
Fanatec has dropped the CSL Elite Pedals V2 from €299.95 to €249.95, saving €50. The three-pedal set uses a load cell brake and remains Fanatec’s main option between the standard CSL Pedals and its more expensive ClubSport and Podium pedal ranges.
The ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5 has also received a €50 discount, falling from €269.95 to €219.95. Fanatec’s long-running shifter can switch between a seven-speed H-pattern layout and sequential operation without requiring a separate unit.
The peripheral deals are:
- CSL Elite Pedals V2: €249.95 — previously €299.95 — save €50.
- ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5: €219.95 — previously €269.95 — save €50.
Four Fanatec steering wheels are included
Fanatec is also discounting four steering wheels across GT, rally and road-car-focused designs.
The largest reduction applies to the CSL Elite Steering Wheel Porsche Vision GT, which falls by €50 from €349.95 to €299.95.
The CSL Steering Wheel GT3 is now €169.95 instead of €199.95, while the Xbox-compatible CSL Elite Steering Wheel WRC drops from €219.95 to €189.95.
At the lower end of the range, the round CSL Steering Wheel BMW is reduced from €159.95 to €129.95.

Some other Fanatec products and Ready2Race combinations currently display lower bundle prices, but these should not automatically be treated as part of the Gear Up campaign. Fanatec routinely applies bundle savings across its store independently of temporary promotions.
The current campaign therefore gives the clearest discounts to users looking to enter or upgrade within the CSL ecosystem, particularly the CSL DD 8 Nm at €379.95, CSL Elite Pedals V2 at €249.95 and Gran Turismo DD Pro at €569.95.
