That’s right. After a long wait, Fanatec has officially completed its full ecosystem transition to the QR2 quick release system. And the iconic GT DD Pro is the final piece of the puzzle.
What does this mean for you?
Until now, if you bought a GT DD Pro, you had to purchase the QR2 Base-Side (Type-C) accessory separately to make it compatible with QR2 wheels. But not anymore. Starting now, all three GT DD Pro models come QR2-ready straight out of the box:
- Gran Turismo® DD Pro Wheel Base (8 Nm) – €599.95
- Gran Turismo® DD Pro (5 Nm) – €699.95
- Gran Turismo® DD Pro (8 Nm) – €799.95
This update ensures a much tighter and more reliable connection between the base and the wheel. If you’ve ever noticed a bit of “play” in older quick release systems, you’ll appreciate the solid feel QR2 brings to the table.
