Today we’re proud to introduce the new
limited edition ClubSport Steering Wheel F1® 2019, officially licensed by Formula 1™! Last year, we produced 2018 units of the F1® 2018 limited edition; this year we have a strict limitation of 2019 units. The new wheels ship in June, pre-orders open today!
Stunning silver finish!
We’ve retained the shape of last year’s limited edition model with the cutaway grips, 5mm carbon fibre front plate, and given it a bold new lick of paint. Silver is the theme for this year; the carbon fibre now has silver weave, and many of the accents are coloured silver, including the entire rear metal housing.
Leather grips!
Perhaps the most significant change is the genuine smooth leather grips, appearing for the first time on a Fanatec Formula wheel. This material is very durable, offering good grip (particularly with bare hands), while remaining highly comfortable over long races.
New coloured button caps!
We’re also including an extra set of button caps in the box (in addition to the standard ‘racing’ caps). The new caps are unmarked (without symbols), and come in various colours. There’s a vast number of possibilities in terms of adding a splash of colour to the front of the wheel.
Loaded with tech!
We’ve packed the F1® 2019 wheel with the same advanced technology as the F1® 2018 wheel, including multi-colour RevLEDs, FlagLEDs, an OLED display, and a huge number of inputs: thumb encoders, 12-way multi-position switches, rocker switches… the list goes on. Of course, the F1® 2019 is ready for a major upgrade: the Podium Advanced Paddle Module. Add magnetic shifters and analog clutch paddles for a truly authentic feeling at your fingertips.
