Fanatec will showcase unreleased sim racing hardware at Tokyo Game Show 2026, with parent company Corsair confirming that a Formula-style simulator at its booth will incorporate products that are still in development. The event takes place at Makuhari Messe in Japan from September 17 through September 21.
Corsair detailed its Tokyo Game Show plans on September 9, confirming dedicated areas for Corsair, Elgato and Fanatec at Hall 3, Booth 03-C02. For sim racers, the most interesting part of the announcement is the Fanatec Formula setup. Corsair specifically states that it will incorporate products still in development, providing visitors with an early look at where Fanatec’s hardware ecosystem is heading.
The company has not identified those products or confirmed whether they include a new wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals or other accessories.
That distinction is important: while the Formula configuration confirms that unreleased hardware will physically be present at Tokyo Game Show, there are currently no official specifications, product names, prices or release dates attached to that hardware.

Podium Pedals Formula Make Consumer Event Debut
Fanatec will also use Tokyo Game Show for the first consumer-event appearance of the Podium Pedals Formula.
Unlike the unidentified development hardware, the Podium Pedals Formula are already an announced product, so their appearance should not be confused with a new reveal. Tokyo Game Show will instead give attendees an opportunity to experience the premium pedal set in person.
Fanatec plans several playable sim racing configurations covering different use cases. These include Formula-style, Gran Turismo-focused and GT3 endurance setups, alongside a more compact desktop configuration.
The company’s official event page confirms that the desktop station will use the Gran Turismo DD Pro 5 Nm with Gran Turismo 7, while the cockpit area will offer three different driving experiences.
What Could Fanatec Reveal at Tokyo Game Show?
For now, Fanatec has deliberately left the identity of its development products undisclosed.
The Formula nature of the demonstration may invite speculation about upcoming Formula-oriented hardware, but Corsair has not confirmed what category the products belong to. There is therefore no basis yet to describe them as a new wheelbase, Formula steering wheel or pedal system.
Fanatec has several ongoing hardware projects and licensing partnerships, but none have been officially connected to the equipment being demonstrated at Tokyo Game Show.
The safest conclusion is simply that visitors will get an early hands-on or visual preview of hardware that has not yet reached its final commercial release.
Fanatec at Tokyo Game Show 2026
Tokyo Game Show 2026 runs from September 17 to September 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Fanatec will be located within the Corsair booth in Hall 3.
