Ferrari Esports Series 2021 – Registrations Now Open

After the success of its debut year which saw 20,000 European drivers compete, registrations for this year’s FERRARI ESPORTS SERIES are open! The winner will receive a life-changing opportunity to join the famous Ferrari Driver Academy Esports Team.

The 2021 tournament will use Kunos Simulazioni’s Assetto Corsa and will feature four of Ferrari’s real-world vehicles, including two exclusively available to drivers who register for the Series – the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo and the brand new Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo.

Registrations are open from 21.00 CET on March 16 on the official website at www.ferrariesportsseries.gg for all the European entrants over the age of 18
(Including the UK)

The qualifying phase will start with four hot laps (with the cover cars) to decide who will participate in the qualifying races that will run from April 5 until the end of July. The best 48 drivers will qualify for the main Ferrari Esports Series competition that will be held from August until the end of November. To finish the season the best 24 drivers will take part in the Grand Final, scheduled for mid-December and consisting of three races to decide who becomes the Ferrari Esports Series 2021 champion.

Qualifying starts with these 4 sessions:

  • Brands Hatch – Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo – April 5 to 18.
  • Laguna Seca – Ferrari 599XX Evo – May 3 to 16
  • Vallelunga – Ferrari FXX K – June 7 to 20
  • Zandvoort – Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 – July 5 to 18

In 2021, two elements have been added with the aim of making the competition more fun: players who sign up will have the chance to participate in various prize draws throughout the season and win a selection of important prizes (more details will be revealed soon). The announcing team will announce the winner of each draw live during the broadcast of each race.

Secondly, the 2021 season will feature an official competition developed especially for esports fans who love Ferrari design: the new Car Livery Contest. Participants will be able to create and submit liveries for the four cars used in the series through a website created for this purpose. The best liveries will be shared on Ferrari’s official social media profiles and the design that is most popular in the Ferrari community will be incorporated into the game and used during the official championship races.
