Ferrari Special Design Will Be available on F1 22

Electronic Arts and Codemasters are integrating the special design used by Ferrari to mark the 100th anniversary of Monza into the official F1 22 game and making the visual changes to the racing car available.

Formula One and Ferrari fans playing EA SPORTS F1 22 between 12 September and 9 October 2022 will be able to experience the GIALLO MODENA ITALIAN GP special design used for the first time by Scuderia Ferrari at the Italian Grand Prix (9-11 September 2022), including customised racewear for the drivers and pit crew.

To mark the 100th anniversary of Monza, the Italian Formula One team has revamped its visual identity, adding a touch of yellow to the F1-75’s design. Instead of Ferrari red this race weekend, the rear section of the engine cowling and the end panels of the rear wing are painted yellow, while the halo has been designed in black and yellow.

“We’re thrilled to join Ferrari on this special moment and bring this iconic new look they’ve developed to F1 22,” said Paul Jeal, F1 Senior Franchise Director at Codemasters, who additionally emphasised how closely they work with F1: “Our studio prides itself on creating authentic racing experiences, and this underpins how closely the game is tied into the world of Formula One.”
