Since Wednesday, May 20, the official Formula 1 Monopoly edition has been available for pre-order. This themed version adapts the classic board game to the world of motorsport, allowing each player to represent one of the eleven Formula 1 teams from the 2026 season.
Although the board keeps a structure similar to traditional Monopoly, this version introduces several important changes. The most notable one is that there will be no bank or conventional currency. Instead, players will collect points and victories throughout the game, recreating the progression of a racing season.
At the center of the experience will be the Monopoly Grand Prix, a secondary board placed in the middle of the main board. When a player lands on a Grand Prix property owned by a rival, both players will compete directly on that circuit.
The official Formula 1 Monopoly edition is now available for pre-order, with its full release scheduled for July 15, 2026.
This release confirms the growing global appeal of Formula 1. Over the past decade, the category has significantly expanded its audience thanks to new communication strategies, audiovisual content, and collaborations with sectors such as culture, sport, and gastronomy.
