Playground Games has detailed Forza Horizon 6’s upcoming Drift Attack mode, confirming a September 7 release alongside a new Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition. A 7-Eleven collaboration and British Automotive series will follow.

Playground Games has revealed new details about Drift Attack, the upcoming Shared World feature for Forza Horizon 6. Previously confirmed as part of the game’s Gamescom 2026 presence, the new drifting activity will become available on September 7, 2026, transforming the Shimanoyama Circuit into its permanent home.

Players will be able to enter directly from the open world without a loading screen, either alone, as part of a Convoy or alongside other drivers. Rather than chasing lap times, Drift Attack awards points for controlled slides, with dedicated Clipping Zones providing additional scoring opportunities around the circuit.

The feature will include in-world and Convoy leaderboards, including drivetrain information for each entry, and will unlock once players obtain the Yellow Wristband. Playground Games also plans to introduce temporary Evolving World Drift Attack locations in future series, while Shimanoyama will remain permanently available.

Playground Games has not yet revealed the seven cars involved.
