Today, June 11, 2023, was the Xbox Showcase, a conference about Xbox games and all the developers that are part of it. Turn 10 Studios is one of them, showcasing Forza Motorsport 8, for which we already have a confirmed release date.
We have covered the details revealed during the showcase, highlighting the improvements made in this new release compared to previous ones, including a glimpse of the cover art. Today, a new in-game trailer was unveiled, showcasing various cars on real tracks, along with the highly anticipated release date. You can watch the trailer below:
Details and Release Date
Based on the trailer, we can observe that the latest vehicles, such as the Cadillac V-Series.R and the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, which we previously saw on the cover, are now featured in the game. Additionally, various tracks like Le Mans, Suzuka, Spa-Francorchamps, and many others have been incorporated. We can also appreciate the new damage model and the state-of-the-art graphics technology that it employs.
The game’s menus are briefly shown as well, presenting a more minimalist design, while still allowing players to upgrade car parts and enhance their performance.
Forza Motorsport 8 will officially be available on October 10, 2023, for Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and on launch day on Game Pass.
