Daily Racers introduces four new-to-Motorsport cars in the Showroom: the 2023 Toyota Camry TRD, 2021 Hyundai i20 N, 2022 Toyota GR86, and the 2021 Hyundai #98 Elantra TCR.
Challenge Hub rewards for Daily Racers includes two additional new-to-Motorsport cars, the 2021 Toyota Yaris GR – unlocked by completing the Daily Racers Tour – and the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, which can be earned by finishing all six series in the Open Class Tour, as well as the Dreamwave and Weekend Warrior Driver Suits.
In addition, each series in the Daily Racers Tour also has its own Spotlight car, three of which are new-to-Motorsport. Add the 2020 Hyundai i30 N, 2022 Cadillac CT5V Blackwing, 2022 Mazda MX-5 RF, and 2022 Hyundai Elantra N to your car collection with a limited-time 30% discount.
Game Improvements and Release Notes
Forza Motorsport Update 17 rolls out for download starting Monday, February 10 on Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam. Spotlight cars and new in-game events will begin on Wednesday, February 12 starting at 4:00 PM PT (12:00 AM UTC on Thursday, February 13).
Below is an overview of the changes and improvements included with Update 17:
- An improved Rival select system changes how friends and random players are prioritized as your Next Rival when there are no more friends to beat on the event’s leaderboard or when your next friend’s best lap time is exceedingly faster than yours, while ensuring each new Rival presents a decent challenge.
- Updated car audio for the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ and 2020 Toyota GR Supra.
- Fixed bugs in the updated 2019 Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 exhaust sound and 2021 Porsche GT3 cockpit audio.
- Fixed a bug where opponent cars were not being attenuated correctly in cockpit view.
- Fixed an issue where the game could restart when using the Quick Resume suspend feature on Xbox Series X|S consoles.
- Rivals events can now be switched quickly without causing game instability.
With Update 17, all vehicles in the Forza Touring Car Spec Series in Featured Multiplayer have been reverted to stock parts and re-tuned with feedback from participants in our Forza Insiders Program, many of whom were invited to playtest this update ahead of its general availability. Speed and performance should be a joy to experience anytime, anywhere. The Daily Racers Tour will allow you to discover the cars that take people to work during the week and battle it out on the track over the weekend.
Across four distinct series, you will explore the world of Modern Hot Hatch, Luxury & Horsepower, RWD Roadsters, and Battle of Sedans.
Modern Hot Hatch
Start your journey in Modern Hot Hatches. Get behind the wheel of the new-to-Motorsport 2020 Hyundai i30 N and race against other Hot Hatches known to be performant on the track.
Luxury & Horsepower
The series showcases cars that combine luxury with performance. Go head-to-head with other luxury sports cars and prove which one is fastest on the track.
RWD Roadsters
Jump into an RWD Roadster. The penultimate series of the Daily Racers Tour invites you to drive the 2022 Mazda MX-5 RF and take on other roadsters in its class.
Battle of Sedans
Sport compacts are a proving ground for manufacturers competing on performance and price. Race alongside fun and powerful cars in the new-to-Motorsport 2022 Hyundai Elantra N, a vehicle which demonstrates both affordability and fun.
Complete all four series in the Daily Racers Tour in Career before March 26, 2025, to unlock the new-to-Motorsport 2021 Toyota Yaris GR from the Challenge Hub. This car is also obtainable by completing 10 races in the Daily Racers Series in Featured Multiplayer.
Test Your Daily Racers in the Open Class Tour
Once you have experienced the diverse lineup of Daily Racers in Forza Motorsport, check out the Open Class Tour to continue the journey of these cars. Available under the Featured tab in Career mode.
Open Class Tour is where you can experiment with different upgrades and showcase your favorite tuned cars. Each update to Forza Motorsport refreshes the Open Class Tour with new events and a different reward car. Cars you’ve already upgraded in a different Builders Cup series can be further levelled up in the Open Class Tour.
The Open Class Tour features six series, each with three races, that range from D Class to R Class. Upgrade your Daily Racers and use them to complete all six series in the Open Class Tour before March 12, 2025, and you will receive the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.
You can also unlock this new-to-Motorsport car by completing 10 races in any Open Series in Featured Multiplayer.
