Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has already started the countdown to celebrate another edition of the 24h SimRacing, a virtual race that is disputed simultaneously with the real one and that year after year is consolidating as an essential in the competition calendar of the eSports world.

This 2021 is the fourth edition of the 24h SimRacing with a cast that is hard to beat. It is an abundant participation, with 36 teams registered, formed by 220 pilots. In addition, as usual, the internationalization of the event is another attraction of the race.

Among the already known names that also start as great opponents in the betting are the Zennith eSports, which last year could not fight for victory after an accident; or the Obsidian SimRacing team, completing a great season. The Williams eSports, the first Formula 1 team to make the leap to virtual competition, will also be present.

Also representing an international brand, the Team Fordzilla, which is presented with heavyweights such as the Catalan driver Àlex Palou, currently competing in the IndyCar, with achievements such as the runner-up in the Indianapolis 500 behind him, or the streamer and veteran simracer Pablo GoPro López.

The GEMA eSports has opted to defend its candidacy with a combination of famous F1 video game streamers, including Photoracertv, JORBAS and Ignars2. Álex Palou will not be the only reality driver taking part in the virtual test, as Team GM07 will be joined by Gil Membrado, Spanish Junior CarCross champion, among other achievements.

From the American continent come the teams ORMA Motorsport (with different participants from Latin America) and ARS Cockpits (from Argentina). Also noteworthy is the Scottish team Team Shazoo, with a full field of Finnish drivers; the Canadian team Visceral Racing; or the Australian Altus-eSports. Likewise, the Belgians of Arnage Comp have also formalized their candidacy.

Focusing attention on the home participants, there are the Catalan teams Race 4 Cat and HiSpeed Demons. The event will also be attended by other classics of Spanish SimRacing as R70 Team, ODOX, XBD and Cheroki who have also participated in all previous editions of the 24h SimRacing at the Circuit.
