George Rusell – Sim Racing Setup

George, has also been doing his bit in the simulation this year and although he is less assiduous than his fellow drivers Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc or Alex Albon, the truth is that he has participated brilliantly in some tests.

Russell has been busy with virtual testing for F1 2020 as the break has affected us all and he has also been able to get some good results in rFactor 2. He has also been testing the new Codemasters release with a very good feeling.

George has a very interesting cockpit with a quite popular configuration that has been improved over the months. He alternates between triple curved 27-inch monitors and single 49-inch monitors depending on whether the title allows it. It has two Direct Drive bases, Simucube 2 and Fanatec Podium F1 DD which it uses depending on the possibilities of the title, all well anchored in an aluminium black profile structure.

The wheel in the Simucube configuration is the popular F28-SC, which is probably one of the most popular wheels in these levels, manufactured by Ascher Racing. It also has the usual accessories for streaming and enjoying your audience, such as a good headset, camera, and a Playseat with a white finish that seems to have been replaced by another of higher quality to be comfortable before the long sessions behind the wheel.

It is a set that is within the possibilities of a veteran simRacer, accessible step by step for the rest of us, as long as we have space and the portfolio allows it.
