Polyphony Digital has announced that the upcoming free update 1.29 for “Gran Turismo 7” on Playstation 5 will be fully compatible with PSVR2. Starting on February 21, players will be able to enjoy all the races and game modes (except for the “2P split screen” mode) with a new level of realism thanks to the PSVR2 technology.
The update will also include an exclusive “VR Showroom” area that PSVR2 players can access from their “Garage” or the game’s car dealerships. In this area, players can admire all the stunning details of the ultra-high definition car models in a variety of locations and lighting configurations.
“ Gran Turismo 7 ” takes full advantage of the next-generation features of PSVR2, including the specially optimized HDR tone mapping, foveated rendering with eye-tracking, and dynamic 3D audio support. All of this translates into a highly immersive and realistic gaming experience.
