Gran Turismo 7 is kicking off 2025 in style with its first update of the year, bringing a lineup of four vastly different vehicles. Series producer Kazunori Yamauchi has teased the cars with his customary silhouette image, and while two have been confirmed, the remaining two have sparked speculation.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is officially confirmed for this update, marking its long-awaited arrival in Gran Turismo 7. First seen in action during December’s Gran Turismo World Finals, this electric crossover combines instant torque with twin-motor grip for blistering acceleration.
Gran Turismo F3500-A
For fans craving race cars, the Gran Turismo F3500-A delivers in spades. This 1990s-inspired open-wheeler boasts a high-revving V12 engine, complete with wings and slick tires for optimal performance.
1980s Honda Civic
The third car in the teaser is believed to be an early Honda Civic, likely from the 1980s. If true, it could be the CRX Si model, known for its 160-horsepower engine and sporty appeal.
Toyota CH-R
Rounding out the lineup is the Toyota CH-R, a hybrid crossover with a sleek design. The CH-R’s most powerful variant combines a 2.0L engine with an electric motor, delivering 220 horsepower. It offers a unique blend of practicality and performance, aligning with Gran Turismo’s penchant for versatile road cars.
The January 2025 update is expected to drop on Thursday, January 30.
