Hyundai Motor Company has announced the debut of the Hyundai ELANTRA N TCR in the globally renowned racing simulation game, Gran Turismo 7.

This announcement, made during the Gran Turismo World Series 2025 World Final at Fukuoka International Congress Center, commemorates a decade of successful collaboration between Hyundai Motor and Polyphony Digital, the creator of the Gran Turismo series.

The ELANTRA N TCR, a high-performance touring car with proven success in motorsport, will be introduced to the game with the January 2026 update under the name ‘ELANTRA N TC’. This milestone aligns with the 10th anniversary of Hyundai N brand, which first captured global attention with the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept car unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

What does the January 2026 update include?

The ELANTRA N TCR, a key highlight of the January 2026 update, is one of the most successful touring cars to date. The model has achieved five consecutive class wins at the Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race (2021–2025) and three straight victories in the FIA TCR World Tour Drivers’ Championship (2022–2024).

The January update also features an exclusive Hyundai N-themed menu at GT Café, along with additional enhancements to the Hyundai Museum at Brand Central, allowing players to explore the history and innovation behind Hyundai’s performance brand in-game.

The presentation also reflected on the evolution of Hyundai N brand, from concept to motorsport dominance and integration into interactive digital experiences.

A Decade of Hyundai N in Gran Turismo

Hyundai Motor’s partnership with Polyphony Digital began in 2015 with the launch of the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo, a futuristic hydrogen-powered hypercar that defined the brand’s high-performance aspirations. Over the years, Hyundai N has become a thrilling addition to Gran Turismo, offering players a chance to experience vehicles like IONIQ 5 N and ELANTRA N in a virtual racing environment.

With the ELANTRA N TCR entering Gran Turismo 7, Hyundai Motor is set to further expand its presence in e-Motorsport, blending cutting-edge automotive innovation with digital entertainment.
