Polyphony Digital has updated the official Gran Turismo 7 Known Issues page on September 1, confirming several problems currently affecting the game and its multiplayer systems.
One of the most significant issues can cause the game to crash on the Rewards and Rating screen after certain races, potentially preventing players from progressing normally. Polyphony has also acknowledged several lobby-related problems, including races becoming stuck on “Preparing” and situations where some players fail to appear correctly in the lobby or on track.
Other multiplayer issues can prevent a lobby from continuing after a race has finished. Polyphony has also identified an incorrect display in Daily Races where Slipstream Strength may appear as “Disabled” even when a slipstream setting is active.
The developer says these problems are planned to be addressed in a future update, although no patch number or release date has been announced yet.
Notably, the current Known Issues page does not include the recently reported problems affecting some Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro users following Update 1.71. Fanatec is currently investigating that issue separately.
Polyphony recommends players continue checking the official Gran Turismo channels for further updates as fixes are prepared.
