Exciting times are ahead for Gran Turismo 7 fans as the game gears up to introduce fresh vehicles, including one making its way to the upcoming Gran Turismo movie.

Polyphony Digital has announced the eagerly anticipated Update 1.36, scheduled to roll out on August 7th. This update promises not only new cars but also revamped GT Café menus and a brand-new Scape feature.

The Star of the Show: Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18

From August 7th to September 28th, all players will have the chance to claim the iconic Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18. This remarkable vehicle is set to play a significant role in the Gran Turismo movie adaptation starring Orlando Bloom and David Harbour.

Securing the Nissan GT-R Nismo is a breeze – just head to the top right corner on the World Map screen to perform the exchange.

More Than Just a Movie Car

Beyond the movie tie-in, Update 1.36 brings along an additional four vehicles, free of charge. These include the classic Chevrolet Corvette (C1) ’58, the sleek Maserati MC20 ’20, the dependable Toyota Ambulance Himedic ’21, and the stylish Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition.

While the Toyota Ambulance and Toyota GR Corolla will be available towards the end of September, you can secure them earlier through the World Series Showdown viewer gift campaign and participation in the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup 2023.

GT Café Menus: Something for Every Collector

The GT Café menus are also getting a facelift. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Extra Menu No. 26: “Maserati” – Unlocked at Collector Level 40
  • Extra Menu No. 27: “Aston Martin” – Unlocked at Collector Level 44
  • Extra Menu No. 28: “Kei cars” – Unlocked at Collector Level 27

A Fresh Perspective: Introducing the New Scape

As part of the update, a new Scape location makes its debut – the Fukuoka East Fire Station in Japan. This addition offers players a novel perspective and a chance to explore a picturesque location in the game.
