Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV Part 1 will launch on October 15, 2026, with Sportsland SUGO, six new cars and several major additions to the game’s car collection and Brand Central systems. Polyphony Digital confirmed the release date and showed the final October car lineup during the Gran Turismo World Series event in Singapore.
Spec IV is one of the largest free Gran Turismo 7 updates so far, but Polyphony Digital is splitting it into two releases. Part 1 arrives in October, while Part 2 follows in December with Autumn Ring, another six cars and several additional game modes.

All Six Cars Coming in Spec IV Part 1
The Singapore reveal has now clarified the six-car lineup arriving on October 15. Five had previously appeared around the original Spec IV announcement, while the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta was confirmed as the major addition to the October selection.
- Citroën 2CV Charleston 1986
- Ferrari F355 Berlinetta 1994
- Honda Civic Si Group A Version 1987
- Honda Stepwgn Spada 2023
- MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 EVO
- Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo
The Ferrari F355 is particularly notable because it was not part of the six vehicles originally associated with the October update. The previously shown BMW M5 E60 will instead arrive with the December half of Spec IV. The new selection covers a deliberately broad range of Gran Turismo’s automotive spectrum. The F355 brings one of Ferrari’s defining 1990s road cars, while the Citroën 2CV and Honda Stepwgn sit at almost the opposite end of the performance scale.

Motorsport is represented by the Honda Civic Si Group A and the new MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 EVO. Mazda’s updated Gr.3 racer evolves the RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT that has represented the manufacturer in Gran Turismo competition for the past six years.
The sixth addition is the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, an electric hypercar designed specifically for the Vision Gran Turismo programme. Polyphony Digital showed the car running inside GT7 for the first time during the Singapore World Series weekend.

Sportsland SUGO Comes to Gran Turismo 7
Part 1 adds Sportsland SUGO, bringing another real Japanese circuit to Gran Turismo 7. The track already made its competitive Gran Turismo World Series debut in Singapore before becoming available to all players on October 15.
The GT7 version measures 3.586 km and contains 13 corners, 69.8 metres of elevation change and a longest straight of 704.5 metres. Its combination of elevation, technical corners and relatively narrow sections makes it very different from many of GT7’s faster modern circuits. SUGO was demonstrated in Singapore using the Dallara SF23 Super Formula car, giving players their first extended look at the circuit running inside Gran Turismo 7.
It is also only half of the circuit content planned for Spec IV. December will bring back Autumn Ring, one of the classic fictional circuits from earlier Gran Turismo games, including both its familiar layout and a newly expanded configuration.
Vintage, Car Concierge, Experience and Car Viewer
Spec IV Part 1 goes beyond adding cars and a circuit. Several of the October features change how players interact with their existing car collections.
- Vintage will introduce a dedicated area for vehicles that are no longer available to buy new, expanding the way older cars are presented within GT7.
- Car Concierge will allow players to order vehicles from the Used Car and Legend Car categories instead of relying exclusively on their normal availability rotations. The Singapore presentation showed different examples based on vehicle mileage and condition, although Polyphony has not yet published a complete explanation of pricing or availability rules.
- Experience adds brand-specific driving challenges through Brand Central. Xiaomi was used as one of the examples during the Singapore presentation, connecting challenges with vehicles such as the SU7 Ultra and the new Vision Gran Turismo.
- Car Viewer is designed around appreciating the vehicles already stored in a player’s garage, providing a more dedicated environment for inspecting and photographing cars.
Polyphony Digital will also increase the Collector Level cap, giving long-term players additional progression beyond the existing limit. An exact new maximum level has not yet been announced.
Part 1 will additionally introduce a new Spec IV opening cinematic.
What Is Being Saved for Spec IV Part 2?
Several of Spec IV’s headline features will not arrive on October 15. Polyphony has reserved them for the second update in December.
- Autumn Ring, including an expanded layout
- Six additional cars
- Family Mode
- Shuffle Race
- Online Drift Trial
- The next evolution of Gran Turismo Sophy
- A new Power Pack difficulty level for advanced players
Family Mode is intended to make Gran Turismo more approachable for children and beginners without removing the appeal for experienced players. Shuffle Race will revive the concept of races using randomly selected vehicles, while Online Drift Trial introduces direct online competition around drifting.
The December update will also bring the next evolution of Gran Turismo Sophy, although Polyphony has not yet explained exactly how the AI system will change. Of the December cars, the BMW M5 E60 is already known after appearing in the original Spec IV material. The remaining lineup has not yet been fully revealed.
Polyphony Digital is expected to provide more information about the second half of Spec IV closer to the Gran Turismo World Series World Finals in Tokyo on December 5-6.
For now, the first major date is confirmed: Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV Part 1 launches as a free update on Thursday, October 15, 2026, bringing Sportsland SUGO, six cars and a substantial expansion of GT7’s collection features.
More information is available through the official Spec IV Part 1 announcement and Polyphony Digital’s complete Spec IV overview.
